Graphene-Coated Coverslips
Stable multilayer rGO-coated glass coverslips for culturing neurons, cardiomyocytes, muscle cells, and other excitable cells. Designed to enable optical excitation of cells by light. Available in 5 mm and 12 mm round formats. The 5 mm size fits standard 96-well plates.
Reduced Graphene Oxide Solution
Write a short description of this category
Graphene-Coated Coverslips
Our graphene-coated coverslips are designed for culturing excitable cells directly on a stable, optically active graphene interface. When illuminated, the multilayer reduced graphene oxide coating enables light-driven stimulation of cells grown on the coverslip surface, supporting non-genetic optical excitation of electrically active biological systems.
These coverslips are especially useful for studies involving neurons, cardiomyocytes, and other excitable cell types, including skeletal muscle cells and related preparations. They can also be used with more complex biological models, including 3D cultures, organoids, and tissue or brain slice preparations, where localized optical stimulation may provide a useful experimental approach.
Product Features
Graphene-coated glass coverslips
Each coverslip is coated with a stable multilayer reduced graphene oxide film, approximately 5–8 graphene layers thick.
Optimized for excitable cells
Suitable for culturing neurons, cardiomyocytes, muscle cells, and other electrically responsive cell types.
Supports light-enabled cell stimulation
Designed to enable optical excitation of cells cultured on the graphene-coated surface.
Compatible with 2D and 3D biological models
Useful for monolayer cultures, 3D cultures, organoids, and slice preparations.
Two convenient sizes
Available as round glass coverslips in 5 mm and 12 mm diameters.
96-well compatibility
The 5 mm coverslip is designed to fit into the wells of standard 96-well plates, making it useful for small-scale assays and higher-throughput experimental formats.
